Web Chat
Embeddable web chat widget with public session APIs and inbox threading.
Add a Syntra web chat widget to your site. Visitors start sessions without an API key; authenticated operators reply from the AI Inbox.
Setup
- PUT /v1/engage/webchat/config: widget key, site name, welcome message
- Embed script from console Channels → Web chat
- Public routes under /v1/engage/webchat/ bypass Kong API key auth
Session flow
- Visitor POST creates a conversation linked to CRM contact when identified
- Messages flow to Inbox with bot automation until agent takeover
- Agent replies deliver back through the web chat channel
